A website prototype is a working model of a website that includes the essential content and features, but may not be fully functional.

Prototypes are typically used to gather feedback from users and stakeholders during the design process. Website prototypes can be created using a variety of methods, including paper sketching, wireframing, and clickable mockups.

Paper sketching is the quickest and easiest way to create a prototype, but it is also the least realistic. Wireframes are more detailed than sketches, but they do not typically include visual design elements.

Clickable mockups are the most realistic type of prototype, as they simulate the look and feel of the final product. Website prototypes can be created using a variety of tools, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and OmniGraffle.
